On the street: You Walk my World

Blogging and walking go hand in hand. Documenting the world around you comes naturally for a new breed of volunteers engaged with cell phones and the urge to make the world a better place.

Batu Digital has developed a Walkify prototype for finding recommended walking routes through cities. A "panic" button allows the user to notify friends and authorities if they find themselves in an uncomfortable situation.
